The Patron and The Muse

The greatest gift a patron can give to the artist, is his trust. I have been blessed by such a patron who trusts my creative process implicitly. When I compare prescribed commissions with those where I am given free reign, the results are incomparable. When I stand before a canvas awaiting the pulse to create, there is a moment of excitement; of bearing witness to the evolution of creative energy; a process where I feel as though I am merely a vehicle blessed with the opportunity to channel stories and sentiments of the ether.
