$300 ~ 13 sessions/26 hours of instruction and all materials
Participants are encouraged to bring a healthy nut-free snack and water bottle. (we do have participants with serious nut allergies)

The Magic of Mandalas
Ages 9-15 (sample class)
An Exploration of Radial Symmetry in Mixed Media
Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning "circle". Mandalas are circular, sacred artworks created by many cultures for their beauty and meditative qualities. Students will discover the magic of radial symmetry as it appears in nature as well as its use in Mandalas from various cultures. Each student with create their own Mandala using mixed media such as acrylic paint, sand, collage and faux gold and silver leaf.
