Maktub - A journey into the Written

"This is a story that wrote itself in countless numbers. A story that has been etched in the cracks of mother’s jewels, scratched in red earth parched for absent rains. This story traced itself in the palm of my hand, and nothing has relieved its perennial itch. "   Gwalior ~ A Memoir by Rena Warren

Always drawn to the patterns created by nature and universal constructs, inspired by the mendhi tradition in India and the ancient Hindu tradition of palmistry; a subject first penned by Valmiki, poet in classical Sanskrit and author of the epic Ramayana; I have embarked upon a journey into the tales told by my own hands.
